1. Who We Are

MyRental.pro ("MyRental," "we," "us," or "our") is a property management software platform operated from Omaha, Nebraska. We provide tools that allow property management companies ("Clients") to manage their properties, leases, tenants, maintenance, and payments. 2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how MyRental collects, uses, and shares information when you use our platform, including our web application at myrental.pro and all related services. It applies to:

If you are a resident and have questions about how your landlord or property manager uses your information, please contact them directly. MyRental processes resident data on behalf of Clients and acts as a data processor in that relationship.

3. Information We Collect

Account and contact information. When a Client creates an account, we collect the company name, administrator name, email address, phone number, and billing address.

Resident information. Clients enter resident data into the platform, which may include name, email address, phone number, date of birth, emergency contact details, and lease information. This data is provided by the Client and processed on their behalf.

Payment information. Rent payments and subscription billing are processed through Stripe. MyRental does not store full payment card numbers or bank account numbers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of payment data. ACH enrollment details (account type, last four digits, payment schedule) are stored in our database to support auto-pay functionality.

Usage data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, browser type, operating system, IP address, and timestamps. This data is used to improve the platform and diagnose technical issues.

Files and documents. Clients and residents may upload documents, photos, and files (such as lease agreements, inspection reports, and identification). These are stored securely in Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3.

4. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use resident data for marketing purposes.

5. How We Share Your Information

We share information only as necessary to operate the platform:

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of MyRental, our clients, or others.

6. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as a Client's subscription is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to allow for account reactivation and to fulfill legal obligations. Clients may request deletion of their account data by contacting us at hello@myrental.pro. Resident data is retained as directed by the Client subject to applicable law.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted passwords (bcrypt), access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

MyRental uses browser localStorage to store session tokens required for authentication. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking technologies. We may use essential session cookies to maintain your logged-in state.

9. Children's Privacy

MyRental is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@myrental.pro. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe consistent with applicable law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Clients of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and, where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
